Pride in Hull is back for 2023! On Saturday 29th July, the city will be covered in rainbows and celebrating everything LGBTQ+. The festival brings tens of thousands of people to the city over the weekend and there’s an abundance of live events, stalls and acts to look forward to! What is Hull Pride?
Hull Pride is a free-to-attend, city centre based event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in East Yorkshire. The first pride event took place in 2002, attracting only a few hundred people. 2022’s Hull Pride event attracted around 50,000 people to the city centre - even with rail strikes!
This year Hull Pride’s main stage is being held in Zebedees Yard, street food along Princes Dock Street, a family area in Queen Victoria Square and a community area on King Edward Street. There’s so much going on for all ages and even better, everything is within walking distance of our boutique hotel!
