April Means Spring

Its officially Spring and it truly feels awesome to see that yellow golden thing in the sky, glistening and making us feel warm and optimistic.

We are positively glowing at Hideout HQ. There is so much happening in the city centre and the buzz at last week’s Hull Street Food Night at Zebedee’s Yard set the tone. The aroma of all the glorious food drew in many to Hull’s City Centre.

It was jam packed with punters sampling delicious treats from the city’s best food vendors. We were impressed by the international feel, music blasting out tunes by one of Hull’s finest DJs. The ambience was perfect for what we know will be a brilliant summer in Hull.

If all this talk of food has made you hungry, make sure you don’t miss the next one, it’s on every first Thursday of the month, till October.

Thank us later.

Here are our picks for What’s On in April

Hull Minster’s highly popular Tower Tours is back and runs both monthly alongside the Hull Street Food Nights in Zebedee’s Yard and every fortnight in between, due to popular demand.

Lyricull 2018: Suzi Quatro

Suzi Quatro is a trailblazer for women in the music industry. Playing bass guitar,
writing songs and fronting her eponymous band, she rocked the 1970s. Working with

Devil Gate Drive, 48 Crash to She’s In Love With You, Suzi’s hits were the
soundtrack for a generation of teenagers growing up in a time of great social and
political change. Check her out at the Hull City Centre venue - Central Library.

As Part of M People, hits such as 'Moving On Up', 'One Night In Heaven' and 'Search For The Hero' and albums like Elegant Slumming, Bizarre Fruit and Fresco achieving massive worldwide success, Heather became one of the seminal British voices of the 1990s, with the band winning the Best British Dance Act Award at the Brits in 1994 and 1995, as well as the Mercury Music Prize for Elegant Slumming. This show is not to be missed on the 14th April at Hull University Union.
