A Fang–Tastic Night

Halloween is just around the corner and is one of the most exciting holidays in Autumn. This particular holiday is celebrated every year on October 31st, often bringing a vast scenery of spooky decorations and carefully crafted costumes with it. 

Halloween is loved by children and adults alike. For the children, it’s considered a night where they can “trick or treat”, racing from door-to-door to gather as many sweets as humanly possible and going to fancy dress parties with friends. 

The same goes for adults, there are often people dressed up as vampires, gruesome beasts from the undead, or other mythic creatures that fit the theme. Costumes are especially favoured by groups going on a night out and nightclubs with themed Halloween events.

“It’s Hull Fair Weather”

This is a phrase we’ve said before and will happily say again. When the weather turns dreary and you start to see fair rides flood into Hull, it’s without a doubt time for one of Hull’s favourite events of the year – “It’s Hull Fair weather!”.

Hull Fair is one of Europe’s largest fairgrounds and is a spectacular tradition that’s greeted by thousands of eager thrill seekers and family goers, who have saved for weeks to spend their money during the week-long spectacle.

The fair has existed since 1278 and has continued to grow year over year, bringing new rides, games and vendors each year. It’s an event that everyone should experience and is completely free to enter.

This year's event will take place on October 7th 2022, up until October 15th 2022. 

It’s also shortly followed by Bonfire Night (aka Guy Fawkes Night), a night filled with fireworks and bonfires, which will take place on November 5th 2022.
